because we all have to start somewhere…

It’s been years since I last saw Ally Mcbeal. I guess even cable TV has no time for old TV shows with the number of new series fighting for people’s attention.
What made me miss this show more is when I saw these clips from YouTube. One is a cute little dance number of the cast to Barry White’s classic songs. The next clip is one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the series (so I’m a romantic weirdo who loves dramatic scenes, got a problem with that?
).
I hope I could buy a DVD boxset of Ally McBeal someday. I not so sure if the friendly Quiapo DVD vendor has a loot of old TV series under his coat. Do they? A little help here.

Author’s note: Spoilers after the cut

Call me weird but it was only recently when I realized why only in Summer (June-August) do the most anticipated movies appear on the big screen. This is their time to lure the consumers away from their TV sets since most of TV series have already aired their season finales and will be back by September — or January depending on the network’s decision.
A few weeks after Prison Break, Grey’s Anatomy has closed yet another season and will be back by fall this year. Unlike my rave review on the former’s season finale, season 3 of Grey’s has become a real disappointment.

Author’s note: Spoilers after the cut

Ok, I admit it. I am a Prison Break fan. My sister had a copy for season one as a Christmas gift and it was just lying aroundby the DVD rack so I thought I’d give it a shot. It actually took me five days to finish season one and I have to control myself from watching the all the episodes from season 2 DVD (which was only 10 at that time) in one sitting. This series was very refreshing and entertaining that I even “forced” dear hubby to watch it too.
