because we all have to start somewhere…

It’s evening already? Just a few minutes of rest and relaxation before another day of work tom? aaargh.
Speaking of work, I have to catch up on a lot of things. Inexperience bites. But of course, I am not the one to give in and I will find a way to get over the learning curve and fast. There are moments of utter disappointment and inadequacy, though. Having gone through tons of those doesn’t necessarily mean it gets less depressing.
I want to eat. Depression always leave me craving for good food, particularly Japanese. I don’t know why exactly. I just know that eating a California maki or two ( or three ) with ebi tempura will never fail to lift one’s spirit (especially when you have a support group eating with you
). Didn’t I used to eat at T-boy almost every week during thesis time? No wonder I got fat.
Ha! Fat. I am getting fat. Not fat fat. But fat enough to not be blamed for when I start getting sick again. Come to think of it, they’re right anyway. The ‘thin’ phase brought a lot ailments.. and it wasn’t pretty. But getting too fat could be a problem too. I need to workout. But work always get in the way. I could buy a pair of dumbells this weekend.
Weekend! The only time for r and r… oh wait, scratch that. I still have ECE board exam review. Good thing I have a few batchmates who could relate to the extreme difficulty of juggling work (which would determine how well you’ll live for now) and board review ( which can work for you… two years from now. otherwise, it’s really unnecessary ). I just hope reading review materials is somewhat enough to compensate for my absences. I didn’t get to attend last weekend because…
… of the section team building! That was fun. I wish work was like that all the time (ha! asa!). I wish there were more outings and gimmicks with friends and officemates. Bowling with my office batchmates was a blast. And Avenue Q with Team Sugoi is memorable. Speaking of musicals, I am considering buying tickets for Cinderella. Although I am having second thoughts because of the steep ticket prices. Even if I get the cheapest ticket, there is no complete certainty that Lea will be performing. Who knows? I might pay a lot of money to see an understudy. No offense to the understudy, though. But personally, I’d rather see a good movie if Lea would not be performing.
Movies are always a great alternative to musicals. Which reminds me, this weekend is marked for yet another movie marathon with the Dearest. Weeeeee. A four more days to go and we get to go out again!
Wait. Four more days? It’s Tuesday already??? Graaaaah. Work again! ~.~
