Same Blank Space

Translation: The nonchalant realization of age… or at least I try to be

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who was sweet enough to greet me on my birthday — whether it was early, last Tuesday or even late. Thanks also to my friends who vacated their Saturdays to join me in my early birthday festivities and bought me a lovely dress!

I tried my best to thank each person who greeted me through text. If you didn’t receive anything, I still thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hope you didn’t reach me using my Globe number, though. That phone has been dead for months now.

In the spirit of birthday celebrations. I’m going to evaluate last year’s wish list. Let’s see…

1. graduate on time –> still applies for this year. triple bold, highlighted with exclamation marks!
2. world peace –> still no semblance of peace and tranquility. *sigh*
3. a decent, one-of-a-kind conversation over milk and (double stuf) oreos/cello’s cheese donuts/cream puffs/chocolate eclairs –> coffee breaks are nice too
4. guylian belgian chocolates –> now available in SM department store! I can get it myself!
5. someone who would fix my keyboard (or kahit na sino na magpapagawa nun)
6. maging SA ng DSP –> check!
7. a “asar-free” week! (para sa mga taong nagiging hobby na ang asarin ako) –> sana meron ulit niyan ngayon
8. any sincere compliment(/s)
9. manalo! –> check!
10. full body massage with foot spa! (samahan na rin ng manicure at pedicure!!!!)
11. instant copy ng lahat ng TV shows na pinapanood/inaabang ko… o kaya movie marathon ng mga new release movies
12. instant parking space sa eee. (hehehe, asa)
13. a collection of meg ryan, sandra bullock and julia roberts romantic comedies (dapat kasama ang sleepless in seattle! mawala na ang lahat, wag lang yun!)
14. i-greet ako sa text/im na hindi lang ‘happy birthday’
15. isang mala-nobelang letter! kahit sa email lang, masisisyahan na ako! –> I got that with news to boot!
16. free gas (full tank! :D)
17. food –> Somebody’s feeding me endlessly
18. make-over. nothing drastic, just someone to doll me up or something… –> I think the dress is more than enough
19. matapos ang supermario 3. or kahit na sinong pwede gumawa nun na spectator ako…
20. sleep!
21. maraming maraming mp3’s na hindi na kailangang i-download… –> Kiko’s ftp sharing ish great!
22. favor on credit! (don’t worry! hindi naman ganun ka-bigat ang mga favors ko no…)

I think I wouldn’t add anything to the list at this point… Wait, I take it back…

I want to graduate with a decent job after!!!!
